BELL COUNTY WATER CONTROL AND IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT #6
WCID #6 Shall conduct preliminary surveys and develop a plan for the control and use of the waters of Nolan Creek to the end that improvements upon any one part of the watershed will be mechanically and economically related to the improvements of the entire watershed.
The authority (WCID #6) shall have and exercise and is hereby vested with the powers to control, store, preserve and distribute the water and floodwater within the area of the authority for the irrigation of arid land, conservation, preservation, reclamation, and drainage of the lands within the authority, and is empowered to carry out flood prevention measures to prevent damage to the land and property with the authority, and to reclaim lands heretofore damaged by reason of the prior failure to provide the facilities authorized to be constructed, under the provisions of this act.
